Chibu Nwoko-Oloyebua is a Nigerian Interior and furniture Designer based in Lagos. She was raised with a deep connection to the arts and architecture in Nigeria. African design, materiality and craftsmanship has always been part of her Heritage.

In 2018, she founded Manukwa Atelier, an interior design studio-workshop in Ikeja now known for their simple yet bold afro cosmopolitan designs. Working with her team of designers, local craftsmen and artisans, her work at Manukwa Invokes a sense of familiarity and pride for the community. The aim she says is to be unapologetically African!

Her goal is for her work to become part of the growing Global conversation about African contemporary arts and design.
